The 3 Step Plan

Step 1: Weight Loss

Step one starts you out on your way to healthy weight loss by using the ITG protein foods as a basis of 3 out of your 4 meals each day. It provides you with the correct amount of healthy protein necessary to protect and maintain your calorie burning muscles all while you burn your stored fat. You follow this step until you have reached 100% of your weight loss goal.

Step 2: Transition

Step two is the key to your weight loss stabilization success. You will slowly re-introduce moderate amounts of fruits, fats and carbohydrates to your diet each week for 4 transition weeks. This allows your body to re-adjust to producing the correct amount of insulin needed and helps you keep those unwanted pounds off.

Step 3: Success for Life

You continue to eat the way you’ve been taught. You have achieved your weight loss goals, rested your pancreas and have learned to eat and maintain your new healthy weight by choosing healthy foods and a balanced diet.

Katie has a strong background in health and wellness, having recently attained her Nutrition Certification and Women’s Weight Loss Specialist through NASM Sports Medicine.

During her downtime, Katie keeps it simple, hiking with her dog Louie and spending time with friends and family.

Samantha Goddard

My name is Sammantha Goddard and I am excited to be your ITG coach here at Desert Sky.  I joined the Desert Sky team in August of 2020, and love helping each person I work with accomplish their weight loss goals, while learning new healthy lifestyle changes.

I was born and raised in Hermiston/ Tri Cities area, where I learned a love for all things outdoors.  When I am not coaching in the office most of my free time is spent traveling or chasing my next adventure, whether that be hiking, kayaking, or taking my jeep out.  My absolute favorite thing about ITG is it helps clients feel alive again, gives them energy they forgot they had, and allows for them to discover new things that they love.  There is nothing I love more than helping people feel great about themselves.

“I was 100 lbs. overweight, miserable and unhealthy. I hated to go anywhere and hid in the back of pictures.  I discovered a year and a half ago that I have an inherited heart condition. My cardiologist told me that if I want live, I needed to lose weight. So, like the good girl that I am, I did!! I was introduced to the weight loss program at Desert Sky and my world was changed!  For me, it was easy as we live in a grab and go world, run, run, run. You don’t have to think about what you are going to eat except for dinner. I did discover some recipes with the products which made a lot more variety. It took me 14 months to lose 103 lbs.  Now I feel and look so much better and my Cardiologist is happy. I have started going to Zumba and love it!!  I lost a whole person and had to buy new clothes! (Darn lol). And…. I now stand right in the front of pictures!! ?”
